Embedded Darkness Tattoos Burlington is a new, modern shop with state of the art equipment. The atmosphere is dark, yet elegant and offers a warm and inviting presence to all that enter.
The shop uses the latest state of the art sterilization equipment and is sanctioned by our local Health Board ensuring the highest standard of excellence for our clients. The main working area is set up so that everyone can see the cleanliness standard we have set. Sterilization records are maintained bi-weekly with "spore tests" posted on the premises and a "PASS" recorded as well. All tubes and needles are currant dated with no expired product used. Records are available for viewing at all times.I was really happy with my tattoo! the detail was great and the shop was so classy and clean!

Martie Mitges
The lead artist, award winning Martie Mitges has been tattooing for over 7 years. His specialties and favourites include very high detail, large scale, realistic portraits, skulls, and gothic and bio-mechanical artistry. In addition, tattooing and drawing of animals, sci-fi fantasy and personal portraits.
He likes to collaborate both ideas and themes and involve a dark twist which comes naturally. He always enjoys a new challenge and always tries to add a new twist and an extra visual punch to his work. He is mostly into black and grey but color is always a part of artistry when needed. His enjoyment of music, primarily of the dark and heavy genre fuels his passion for custom artwork.
